Physical and Chemical Properties:
It is soluble in alkalis, methanol, ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone,slightly soluble in water and aldehydes, and insoluble in benzeneand toluene. The decomposition temperature is 100-110°c, releasingnitrogen and a small amount of water. lt hydrolyzes to producesulfonic acid in hot water, has no hygroscopic phenomenon at roomtemperature, is a flammable substance, and does not catch fire whenexposed to acid.
1. Used as a foaming agent for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and various plastics.2. This product has a low decomposition temperature and should be mixed below 70 ‘c. Cannot be used incombination with dinitro-pentamethylenetetramine (foaming agent H), nor should it be used in combination withlead salts to avoid coking and contamination of the rubber material, Foam additives are not required when usingthis product.
3.lt can be used to make white foam body for PVC (the mold needs chrome plating).
4.Widely adaptable, known as a universal foaming agent.
